"I will admit, I was not a big supporter of your product. It was my opinion that some gizmo thingy that you stick on your seatbelt wasn’t going to do anything positive in the event of a serious crash. This opinion, wrongfully. was based on nothing more than testosterone. Not 5 minutes later, Don and I were upside down assessing each other when Don said, ‘are you ok?’ To my surprise I was. I was hanging there as tight in my seat with the CG-Lock as Don was in his harness. Thanks you for your CG-Lock and thank you Don for strapping me in with it."

"Tuesday April 29, 2008, Big Daddy (Don) took a spill on Rte 28 in Fontana, NC. There was a nice “volcano” pothole in the outside curve of the road that he hit, and lost control. He WAS NOT going fast, just couldn’t regain the control in the curve and flipped.
There are two amazing things… NEITHER Don nor Rich were hurt (Thanks to a harness and a CG Lock) and the car was drivable! MINIs are very strong little beasts!"

"I am contacting you in regards to the CG-LOCK that i purchased last year. I had a accident just before Xmas and had a silver Audi suddenly pull in front of me causing me to brake and lose control of my vehicle. I then crashed (driver side) into the central crash barriers then sliding over 50 metres (according to the traffic officers… I blanked out during the accident).
However they were shocked how I came out unscathed due to the nature of the accident. The CG-LOCK did its exact job and kept me still in my seat stopping me injuring myself in the crash. There is even a black area on the CG-LOCK where its pulled fibres off the seatbelt onto the gripper. I am shocked that they have not yet approved this as a safety device as it certainly is… it improves the seatbelt.
I have enclosed a photo of the vehicle after the accident. My vehicle was only a Chevrolet Matiz however the accident was no different to any other."

"I was involved in a high-speed crash in which my car spun around, hit a wooden stump backwards and flipped over. I was completely unhurt other than a mild whiplash and I’m convinced my CG-Lock saved me from injury. Police attending the accident said they were surprised as in their experience such a crash usually resulted in serious injury."

"The CG-Lock in question is fitted to a Rover Metro called “Ziva”, which is used for sprint racing, the car runs in class A1, this class is for series production road legal cars up to 1400cc.
At a sprint meeting in 2006, my son Shaun got oil on the rear tyres of the car (not his fault,) and although he followed my instructions on how to control a FWD car when the rear end steps out, he lost control and ended up on the grass where he hit a 10 foot concrete post head on, snapping the post in two. Shaun sustained some minor neck injuries and was air lifted to hospital as a precaution. (He sustained some minor muscle damage.) The Rover Metro (”Ziva”) however required a lot more work; a new front end, radiator, alternator, oil cooler, and some internal bodywork. Shaun is adamant that without the CG-Lock he is sure he would have sustained some internal organ damage during the accident.
Shaun had a quick recovery and raced at the next sprint event, ensuring that his CG-Lock was securely fitted and achieving his fastest time of the season. The CG-Lock saved Shaun from serious injury.
We do not have a before and after picture but before the accident the vehicle was a Rover Metro, after the accident we re-built the front end with that of the newer Rover 100."

"I have benefited from having a CG-Lock fitted to a vehicle I was driving for a simple stunt performed last year. My son Shaun was shooting a music video for his A level media course, and as I had a lot of experience with rolling vehicles (I used to compete in banger racing and roll-over competitions. winning a fair few!) I volunteered to roll a car to add visual impact to the classical music piece. I did not want a full harness spoiling the shots so I fitted the CG-Lock to the car.
I, driving a Ford Fiesta at 40mph hit a Ford Escort in the side forcing the Fiesta to flip over. I slightly misjudged the impact speed and the Fiesta rolled slightly more that was required. Once the support crew had ensured that I was alright and turned the vehicle back onto its wheels, I simply unlocked the seatbelt and climbed out of the window as the door would not open. The CG-Lock ensured that I had no ’seatbelt dangle’ on rolling the car and gave me full confidence to roll a car wearing just a normal seat belt."

"Our team deals in High Risk entry for State and Federal fugitive recovery as well as Executive Protection. We were extremely impressed with how well it kept us secured in our seats.
We put the CG-Lock through the EVOC course, high speed maneuvers, and off road. The drivers all had the same thing to say: during high speed maneuvers with the CG-Lock, once cinching the belt, you were secure thus allowing yourself to concentrate on using the steering wheel to control the vehicle verses using the steering wheel to stabilize yourself while also trying to control the vehicle, which we all know is a safety risk.
Myself and the team decided to put the CG-Lock to our own tests by equipping an old salvage car with the CG-Lock and then purposely rolling the vehicle to see if it really would stand up to its name. Once again, we were thrilled with the results; while upside down the driver was secured in the correct seated position but was able to quickly remove himself from the belt using the release switch.
We all now have CG-Lock’s in our own private vehicles as well and are very satisfied with the results that they provide on a daily basis. When purchasing new company vehicles there is no doubt that they will all be equipped with the CG-Lock system. This is one product that provides as all with peace of mind, knowing that it will always perform to its expectations, and because of this we not only stand behind it 100% but will recommend it to all colleagues and clients whom might benefit from the CG-Lock."

"Just wanted to let you know that I am a very satisfied customer! Last Saturday, my Mini Cooper S was rear-ended by a Chrysler 300. I was doing about 60, he was around 100. I got not only a big push, but also some rotational velocity from the impact. My CG-Lock was in use and tight like I always wear it which was fortunate because I credit it with helping to save my life! Because I was firmly attached to the seat, I was able to control the car through some very serious and aggressive post-collision maneuvering. Thanks for a really great product!"

"First up – I’m just real happy to still be here! I was the same as (I suspect) the majority of your customers – I bought the CG-Lock to give me much better control when ‘driving quickly’. I’ll be very honest, and tell you that the safety benefits of the device did not cross my mind. I agree with the feedback already on (the web) site – it makes a HUGE difference to seated control when driving enthusiastically.
However – my view of the benefits of the device are now significantly changed (or specifically – ‘added to’). I would NEVER do a track day again in a car that did not have either a full harness or CG-Lock device. The safety benefits are massive – which I now realise. (You add that to the performance of (own) body control – and the purchase is a ‘no brain’ decision.) "

"A funny thing happened on the way back from a track day… my M3 and I hit a patch of ice on the road and ended up shiny side down in a ditch. The shoulder belt was loose, but my “CG-Lock”ed lap belt held me tightly in the seat, ass over teakettle. You say the CG-Lock is not a “safety device” but it sure helped to be held securely while I was figuring out how to get out of the car. Thanks!"

"They’re fantastic - especially if you change cars regularly and don’t want to fit harnesses!! I hit the barrier in a VI RS at a tremendous speed and rolled it at Oulton Park. The car twisted / turned and rolled like a rollercoaster, ending up some 200 mts from the impact. As you can see the roof was dented in by quite a few inches just where my head was. Luckily I had the CG-Lock on, which held me firmly into the seat while the car was rolling - especially as i’m 6′ 4". I’m lucky to have walked away with cuts & bruises but i’m sure I would have had much worse injuries had it not been for the CG-Lock."
