Toby Newton is coming up the ranks fast! He is just 17 and got a Championship 4th place in 2006 in his first year in the Dunlop Radical Biduro championships.

At the “Great & British” Motorsport Festival - Round 2 - Brands Hatch - 3rd May 2006 Toby had a bad start from row two and that meant he had to battle his way up through the order and that’s exactly what he did and by lap ten he took over third spot. He then set his sights on the rear of Hodgkin and was reeling him in and just five laps later was closing down hard.

Yet it was not enough for Newton who, despite pulling in the top two, had to settle for third behind Hodgkin by the time the chequered flag was waved with Saggers the race winner. In race 2 Toby managed a great 2nd place.
