Ed McDonaghBorn in the US, Ed left for Great Britain in the Sixties and stayed on. He participated in the World Sports Car Championship in 1973, drove in the UK Alfa Romeo series for eight years, as well as driving in many long distance races including Le Mans and the Nurburgring.

ARDS Instruction logo.Currently, Ed serves as the European Editor of Vintage Racecar Journal, is the senior contributor to Auto Italia (UK); contributes to Autocollezioni (Italy). He is a long-time Alfa Romeo enthusiast, who chaired the UK Alfa Romeo Owners Club from 1992-2001.

In his spare time Ed wrote Ferrari 156 harknose. A book on Vanwall book is being completed, and a book on the Rodriguez Brothers is nearly complete.
