Who are the people behind the CG-Lock?

Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit more about us. My name is Graham Cox and I run the European arm of the CG-Lock business. Bruce Mather is my friend and business partner in the USA. Bruce and I love cars and the CG-Lock was borne out of that love…

We love what we do and it makes everything worthwhile when we get the occasional email from yet another crash survivor thanking us for saving their lives… When you think about it, a job can’t get much more fulfilling than that.

We now have a small team who are really great to work with and are busy selecting stockists around Europe to make the device known and available to more people.

So what is the CG-Lock all about?

In a nutshell, my company is all about making your car journey as enjoyable and safe as possible… That’s it.  Thousands of gadgets and millions of pounds are spent each year in pursuit of this simple goal… But not many meet the mark.

Years ago when Bruce and I were sliding all over the seat in our cars on track days we realised we were missing so much of the beauty of ‘being at one’ with the car… so the CG-Lock was invented to make the driver bond with the seat… without the hassle of having to fit a full harness. Since then we realised that the CG-Lock does so much more to help with comfort, posture and safety.

Whether you are about to go on a track day for the first time to improve your driver skills… Or whether you are a busy exec who is on the motorway more than they’d like to be (and not moving very fast, interspersed with moving very fast) … Or whether you’re a busy mum with children in booster seats… Or driving a hand controlled modified car… We believe you deserve to drive every mile in the safest and most comfortable way.

Our device was borne from this goal… it costs a lot to drive, so you should enjoy every mile as much as possible…

Since the device was introduced over 7 years ago, we’ve had a lot of great press coverage and have slowly built up a great variety of regular CG-Lock users (some would say CG-Lock ‘fans’), from top end drivers like Ben Collins to police driver training schools, fitness fanatics, busy Executives, hopeful Paralympians,  through to Movie studios and car crash survivors we’ve even won a whole load of awards for safety and ‘coolness’

Like many companies growing healthily, we love what we do and we get a thrill from getting feedback from users all over the world… And delighting customers with advice and replacements should your device get more than the usual pounding!
